Welcome to the class blog for our international Early Childhood Education study abroad 2018. I am the course instructor and trip coordinator and am thrilled to share student reflections from our trip. We will be leaving for Nepal in just 2 weeks! These students have spent an intensive spring semester studying and preparing for the trip and are feeling anxious and excited to get going!
Our students will be studying abroad about early childhood education in Kathmandu. Dr. Samara Madrid with the University of Tennessee is accompanying us on the trip to conduct research on the experiences of our students. We are also thrilled to be bringing three returning graduates, Gabe, Myles, and Sage, from our last trip to serve as student mentors, and to complete some of their own graduate research on the experience.
Once we arrive in Nepal you can expect daily posts full of pictures and reflections on our adventures. You can follow this blog or return here every day for updates. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you!
